2025 Show team

Mike Wazowski is out of Emily's 2020 Reserve Champion Market Lamb, Luna. Mike has a big personality to go with that big hip and ridiculous flank drop. He is so balanced that we still can't believe that he is homegrown. Of course, with a sire of American Outlaw, he has all the right genetics to go far. Maybe a little slower to grow into himself, but that's ok. We have used MacLennan genetics before and they are always worth the wait! It doesn't hurt that he is easy going and happy to show off his worth as well. Emily has already chosen him as a favorite and can't wait to hit the ring with him. Emily plans to show him from late spring into early winter.

And then there is Pico de Gallo, affectionately called Pico. Gosh, this one was hard to give the nod to have banded. He is the biggest on the show team and he weighed in at weaning at a whopping 76 pounds! He is out of a little ewe we bought from Canty Show Sheep and we are sure glad they sold her! Pico will hit some early jackpots and if we can slow this big guy down a bit, we will happily show him as long as we can. 

This is the beginning of something big - Rachel's show flock! Our little showman might not be big enough to show at the big shows yet, but she's ready to jackpot with her own lamb! 

This lamb is out of Bunny, another one of the Hobbs' ewes we purchased last year. Given the quality of her, we think it is the perfect foundation for Rachel to build her flock up with. Look for her in the ring at jackpots this summer. 

Clarabelle (and her twin Annabelle) is out of Kennedy, Emily's little powerhouse of a ewe. Kennedy is out of Hinton Club Lamb's Quick Trip and 808, so the genetics are there for quality and power. 

Clarabelle has one of the most expressive hips in the group and balances it up great with a clean chest and deep flank. She's wider than her twin but built a little different. It will be fun to see who will be liked better by the judges this summer. So in classic sister showdown style, Emily is showing Clarabelle while Hannah shows Annabelle. Fun times! 

The only outside lamb we purchased this year was this guy! When we first saw him on the farm at Hinton Club Lambs, we knew we needed on our team. He is deep in all the right spots, clean fronted and exceptionally wide topped. And when he is in motion, you can't help but stop and watch. He isn't huge framed and we are just over the moon about that! Emily needed two high quality lambs to hold into the bigger fall shows and this little guy is the perfect candidate! Big enough and expressive enough to do well in early summer jackpots while not getting so big that we can't show him into the fall (um, Pico, we are talking about you). And he has the quality we need once we move into national level shows.  This pair should be really fun to watch this summer.  

Annabelle (and her twin Clarabelle) is out of Kennedy, Emily's little powerhouse of a ewe. So in classic sister showdown style, Hannah is showing Annabelle while Emily is showing Clarabelle. Fun times! 

Hei Hei is from Burch Livestock as part of the Aksarben Lamb Challenge Program. Emily applied this past winter and she was one of fifteen kids to be selected! Burch Livestock was the sponsoring breeder this year and her personal sponsor is Hubbard Show Lambs. We are excited for her to have this opportunity and can't wait to see what adventures they will have.

He is out of a silly thick ewe that we purchased from Joe Hobbs last year. She added bone and twist while Sven added mass and shag. Both of these twins are super nice and we plan to debut them in late summer.
